I read an excerpt from the 6th book in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin. It pretty much served to remind me how anxiously I await the next book in the series. I should've just ignored the excerpt all together because now I'm all "WHY ISN'T THERE MORE?!"

Finished Dance With Dragons. It was pretty much incredible. I mean, I guess some chapters I would have liked to skip over, but just the overall wholeness of the thing and what Martin did to the people and the land and the chaos and dust he's throwing up. I have 130 pages left of Dance With Dragons and then I'm plunged into a Martin-free world until his next book or more likely the second season next spring. ::sigh:: I'm not looking forward to it.
